About Me

My journey to finding birth work is a mixture of many different passions colliding. Growing up I was always certain about my love for musical theatre, children, and the hope of becoming a mom myself.

My background begins throughout my teen and adult life where I had the opportunity to nanny for multiple newborns, run preschool programs at local schools, and work for after-school programs for elementary students. I was also extremely lucky to attend and receive a BFA from a prestigious Conservatory for Musical Theatre where I gained so many connections and interpersonal skills that aid me throughout my adult life.

My passion for birth work truly took off when I was pregnant with my first baby. I watched labor vlogs, took as many classes as I could, tried my best to prepare myself for this new journey, and hired a doula. Having a doula brought so much relief and peace knowing I had someone throughout my pregnancy and postpartum to help me advocate for myself and my wishes and guide me to the resources and education I needed. I experienced firsthand the shift that happens during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I am especially candid about my experience with my own postpartum mental health struggles, and I am forever grateful to the people in my life who were there during my transition into motherhood.

Working with me you will receive the same care I received and that you deserve. Someone who will meet you where you're at, provide you with evidence based care, the resources to grow, and feel confident about your wishes and how to advocate for yourself. I will always show up with warmth, a judgement free listening ear, and I truly want the families I work with to thrive in all stages of this journey.
